2010-2017 Diana studied at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Assoc. Prof. Olga Ivusheikova, flute and flute traverso), then in Essen at the Folkwang University of the Arts, Early Music Faculty (Prof. Michael Schmidt-Casdorff, flute traverso). She completed an assistant internship at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, specializing in “The Art of Musical and Instrumental Performance” at the Department of Contemporary Music.
2020 Diana did a candidate degree for a PhD at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Diana participated in masterclasses and creative workshops led by renowned musicians such as Felix Renggli, Denis Buriakov, Philipp Bernold, Emmanuel Pahud, Renata Greiss-Armin, William Bennett, Andrea Lieberknecht, Carlo Jans, and Gaby Pas-van Riet.
She took part in multiple international festivals and master classes including the Renaissance Music and Dance Festival “La Renaissanse” (Moscow, 2011); The International Chamber Music Festival. (Bruchsal, 2015); International Music Festival “Plectro La Rioja” (Spain, 2015); International Festival “EarlyMusic” (Saint Petersburg, 2016); Kuskovo Early Music Festival “Gallant Baroque” (Moscow, 2017-2018); “Russian Parnassus” (Moscow, 2022-2024); “VII International Gindin Festival” (Moscow, 2024); International Festival “Virtuosi of the Flute” (Saint Petersburg, 2024). Diana Krivenko gives recitals and chamber music concerts in numerous cities across Europe, China, Japan, Argentina, and Russia—including St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Pyatigorsk, Vladimir, Kazan. In a vast majority of these cities, Diana gives masterclasses on a yearly basis.
In 2017 she took part in the Moscow International Summer Gnessin School. She has been working as a flute teacher at the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music since 2018. Since 2020, Diana has maintained a collaborative relationship with the New Names charity foundation and the New Itinerants Arts and Education program. Diana is regularly invited as a jury member for Moscow and international competitions. Since 2024 and up to the present moment, Diana has been a member of the Organizing Committee and Artistic Director for the Gnessin International Flute Competition and Festival. Over the past several years, she has collaborated with renowned musicians including Janos Ballint, Carlo Janz, Felix Renggli, Maria Fedotova, Cordula Hake, Jörn Schau, Alexander Ghindin, Marina Katarznova, Olga Martynova, Denis Lupachev, Den Meng, Elizaveta Ivanova, Anna Komarova. Since 2022, Diana has also been an inspirer and later an artistic director for the Moscow Baroque Academy, the Flute School “Flute Generation XXI” at the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music.
